USING DAILYMATE
Terms & Conditions.
These terms explain the ground rules for using the DailyMate website and mobile app.
DailyMate helps you organize personal financial information. It is not a bank, payment institution, investment adviser, or substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice.
1. Agreement and operator
DailyMate is owned and operated by BuildingDots, based in Jagadhri, Yamunanagar, Haryana, India. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the DailyMate website and mobile app. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement, or use the service with any permission required by applicable law.
2. What DailyMate does
DailyMate provides tools for recording and viewing personal finance information, including accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, money with people, scheduled payments, warranties, and related reminders. The website contains product information and an illustrative budget preview.
Features may change as the service evolves. A scheduled rule, alert, estimate, chart, or reminder is a planning aid, not a guarantee that a payment has been made, a balance is accurate, or an outcome will occur.
3. Your account and security
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials and device secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Tell us promptly at info@dailymate.org if you suspect unauthorized use.
Sign-in through Google or Apple also depends on those providers' services and terms. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably needed for security, misuse, or legal compliance.
4. Your responsibilities
You may use DailyMate for lawful personal purposes. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful material, misuse another person's information, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or others' rights.
You are responsible for the information you enter, import, attach, or share, including ensuring you have a right to use any contact information or document you add.
5. Financial information and decisions
DailyMate displays and calculates information from records you provide or manage. You should review transactions, imported data, balances, exchange amounts, reminders, and reports against original sources before relying on them. We do not verify a bank balance or execute a bank transfer merely by showing it in the app.
Nothing in DailyMate is personalized investment, credit, tax, legal, or other regulated professional advice. You remain responsible for your financial decisions.
6. Third-party services
Some optional features rely on services outside BuildingDots, such as sign-in providers, your device's location or notification services, file sharing, contact or messaging apps, and payment providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their availability or independently supplied content.
Links from this website, including the BuildingDots website, are provided for convenience and do not change these terms.
7. Paid features
If we offer a paid feature, the applicable price, billing period, and checkout terms will be shown before you choose to pay. A third-party payment provider may process the transaction. Any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law continue to apply.
8. Ownership and permitted use
BuildingDots retains rights in the DailyMate name, website, app, visual design, and software, subject to any third-party rights. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service as provided, for its intended purpose and in accordance with these terms. You keep rights to information you enter or create; you give us only the permissions reasonably necessary to provide the features you choose to use.
9. Availability, warranties, and liability
We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but the website and app may be interrupted, changed, or unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without a guarantee that it will be error-free or suitable for every purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BuildingDots is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Ending use and changes
You may stop using DailyMate at any time. Removing local app data or uninstalling the app does not necessarily close your backend account; contact us to request account closure or deletion. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for breach of these terms, security, or legal requirements.
We may update these terms as the product or law changes. The effective date above identifies the current published version. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply, subject to applicable law.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules, disputes will be brought before courts having jurisdiction in Yamunanagar, Haryana, India.
